Reimagining LA

An Open Call to Architects, Urban Planners, and Visual Storytellers

Los Angeles stands at a crossroads. With wildfires becoming more frequent and intense, we must rethink how we design, develop, and live within this fire-prone landscape. Instead of resisting fire, we need to integrate it into our urban fabric —transforming it from a destructive force into one of renewal and resilience.

I’m inviting architects, urban planners, developers, and creative storytellers to help bring this future to life. By working together, we can redefine urban resilience —leveraging cutting-edge materials, ecological design, and forward-thinking real estate strategies to create neighbourhoods that embrace fire as a natural part of their evolution.

This initiative goes beyond technical solutions — it is also about changing perceptions. That’s why I’m also calling on visual artists, filmmakers, animators, and architectural illustrators to help communicate this vision through compelling storytelling, immersive experiences, and striking visualisations. Wildfire resilience is not just about safety — it’s about designing cities that are sustainable, beautiful, and deeply connected to their environment.

Whether you’re a designer shaping the built environment or a creative professional bringing ideas to life through film, animation, or digital media, there are many ways to get involved. Together, we can craft an inspiring blueprint to transform Los Angeles into a global model for wildfire-adaptive urbanism.

If you share this vision and want to be part of this groundbreaking movement, find out more about the project that peers in Los Angeles and I are pulling together at the links below.
